Welcome to
Junior Achievement of New Hampshire
Now is the time to plan for the 2008 Wendy's Junior Achievement Bowlathon. Every March Junior Achievement organizes bowlathons across the state, raising money to provide economic education for NH school children. In 2007 we raised over $57,000, bowled in eight cities and had 94 teams from 18 companies participate. For more information and a complete downloadable Bowler's Packet click on the Upcoming Events tab to the left of the screen and select Bowlathon. Junior Achievement is a non-profit organization dedicated to preparing tomorrow's leaders by teaching kids how business works. JA offers hands on economic education programs to students in grades K-12. Our unique delivery system brings volunteers into the classroom to share their experience with students to show them what it takes to be successful. JA provides volunteers with all program materials, training and support necessary for a positive classroom experience. JA is the successful bridge between education and business.
As a non-profit organization, JA relies entirely on the support of businesses, individuals, foundation grants and special events like the Bowlathon. JA receives no funding from federal or state government agencies, but does receive some donor designations from the United Way.
How to get involved:
As a volunteer - share your work experience with students in the classroom.
As a business - consider sponsoring a classroom or a whole school, bringing JA to all students. Participate in JA's special events such as the New Hampshire Golf Invitational or Bowl-a-thons.
As a school/teacher - invite Junior Achievement into your school at the elementary, middle or high school level.
For more information contact Junior Achievement at (603) 626-1918.
